So, our justification is the result of God’s imputation of His righteousness given to us and from
the moment of salvation; as long as we live in Phase 2 of the plan of God and throughout all
eternity, there is a sense in which we are righteous and it’s not because we’ve accomplished that
standing before God; it’s because His gift of His righteousness to us has made it so He can and
does declare us righteous in His sight.
Praise is the principle here and there are two kinds of praise and two directions for praise to go:
praise is directed toward God and directed toward people in the form of having a completely
relaxed mental attitude toward God and toward people.
As far as God is concerned, we are absolutely beautiful when we have a grace-oriented relaxed
mental attitude and are focused on His Word.
Jashar is where we finally have a normal experience that is above everything going on around
us; it’s an absolutely delightful standard.
God loves His own righteousness and His own justice and He cannot be inconsistent with His
own character; therefore, when God expresses His love toward anyone, His righteousness and
His justice must agree to it.
God breathed a human spirit into Adam that allowed him to have spiritual fellowship with Him
and He breathed into him a human soul that allowed him to have fellowship with his fellow man
along with the ability to dominate the lower creation.
Believers in the Lord Jesus should be more impressed with the Source of nature than they are
with nature itself but as you well know, it’s frequently the other way around.
And the Person who speaks and holds the universe together; speaks His promises in the written
Word of God from the same Source and the same power behind them that holds the universe
together!
There are two kinds of happiness for believers, the inner happiness we have from biblical truth in
our souls and the prosperity of a nation filled with grace-oriented believers; the salt of the earth
principle and we are talking about a nation here.
Wherever God finds believers in His Son, He observes them with pleasure which is an
expression of His love and His expectation is that they will learn biblical truth and use it
effectively in their spiritual battles and that’s what He’s looking for in His creation.
A nation functions best with good leadership and God protects the leadership of a nation when
He is blessing it.
Our safety does not lie in visible things, it lies in invisible things like the mind of Christ.
The stability of a nation is in the people of the nation, not in its leadership.
The plan of God for born-again believers goes on whether their nation has prosperity or disaster.
If our security depends upon Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ never changes; then we have
something greater than any nation has ever had before, except for Judah and Israel and they blew
it through their apostasy.
God is unchangeable because He cannot change; it’s us who are the ones who do the changing;
God cannot be better or worse than His essence dictates; in fact, He’s never had a day when He
was better or worse in contrast to us for whom every day is a better or worse proposition.
