The Book of James Lsn # 22, 'Don’t Be Deceived'
James tells us that the spiritually mature believer must know and apply biblical truth in whatever
circumstance he finds himself in. A believer who truly knows and loves God will not say when
he is tested; “God is trying to make my life unbearable.” Without a doubt, one of the greatest
dangers in the Christian life is that we often deceive ourselves and
self-deceit is based upon ignorance of biblical truth or arrogance in rejecting it if we know it.
We all stand alone in our own personal responsibility to get the Word of truth in us to aid in our
quest to avoid deception. There is no handicap in human life which hinders anyone from serving
the Lord aside from mental incapacity. Nationalism means that God has assigned the nation as
the highest form of human government and
He continues to reject the concept of globalism as He has from the time of the Tower of Babel in
Genesis 11:1-9. God has divided the human race for the purpose of giving everyone
everywhere maximum freedom to choose for or against Him but we cannot have maximum
freedom if we have one world government of any sort. Satan is always looking for some way to
totally influence the entire human race in an effort to bring all people into his fold and that’s why
he’s developed certain strategies and systems to entice us. The whole earth being of one accord
and one language turned out to be a curse because a unified system of communication resulted in
the rise of God-forbidden internationalism. In regeneration, Jesus Christ receives the glory but
under the cult of ego-seeking, man receives the glory as he exalts himself and you better believe
he’s highly stimulated by his self-exaltation. Nationalism which includes the military
establishment to protect the freedom of the nation from foreign enemies abroad plus an internal
police system to protect the nation from enemies within the borders of the nation, quite frankly
severely frustrates Satan’s function on earth. And when someone believes in Jesus Christ, the
devil doesn’t give up on them because they are now living members of the Family of God,
testimonies to His righteousness and justice, secure in His plan and totally separated from
Satan’s plan!
